DESCRIPTION:<p>Hello All!</p>\n<p>As you may know\, the University of Memphis' Philosophy deparrtment is in charge of hosting the Midsouth Undergraduate Philosophy Conference every year. This conference is a great way for folks who have never given a talk to sort of get their feet wet\, so to speak. There is no theme for the papers being accepted\, so feel free to use an old term paper that you're proud of\, a paper that you're currently working on\, etc. If you have any questions\, email one of the organizers listed and we will be happy to help!</p>\n<p>The guidelines for a submission are as follows:</p>\n<p>Conference Style:</p>\n<p>Papers selected for presentation by the conference committee may be read aloud\, paraphrased\, or otherwise presented with or without the use of aids (PowerPoint\, whiteboard\, etc.). Presentations should be limited to 20 minutes\, in order to give adequate time for questions and discussions.</p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines:</p>\n<p>Papers must:</p>\n<p>(1) be 3000 words or under</p>\n<p>(2) include a cover letter stating:</p>\n<p>the author's name</p>\n<p>institution</p>\n<p>mailing address</p>\n<p>telephone number</p>\n<p>and email address</p>\n<p>Email to Cathy Wilhelm&nbsp\;at&nbsp\;cwilhelm@memphis.edu.</p>\n<p>There is no fee for the conference. However\, papers must be received by February 21 in order to be considered.</p>
