\nThe Department of Philosophy at Texas State University is pleased to announce that it will host the 2020 meeting of the Southwest Seminar in Continental Philosophy. \; The Southwest Seminar has held annual meetings since 2010 and has since then fostered a growing community of philosophers in the region.
\nDilek Huseyinzadegan (Emory University) and Alistair Welchman (University of Texas San Antonio) will present keynote addresses.
\nWe welcome abstract submissions relating to any area of philosophy that engage with ideas and arguments stemming from the Continental tradition\, broadly construed\, or that adopt its method and style of philosophizing.
\nAbstracts of at least 200 words should be submitted by Friday\, March 27th to meb211@txstate.edu. \; Please include them in a separate document attached to your email and prepared for blind review. \; Submission is open to graduate students\, postdoctoral researchers\, and philosophy faculty. \; Questions about the conference should be directed to Matt Bower (meb211@txstate.edu).
