DESCRIPTION:<p>We welcome submissions from all graduate students in philosophy for the 24th&nbsp\;Annual Oxford Philosophy Graduate Conference.</p>\n<p><strong>Update:&nbsp\;</strong>In light of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic\,&nbsp\;we have decided to postpone our conference which was originally scheduled to take place on&nbsp\;14-15th November 2020.<strong> The new date of the conference will be&nbsp\;</strong><strong><strong>6-7th February 2021</strong></strong><strong>. The submission date (</strong><strong>3rd August 2020)</strong><strong>&nbsp\;</strong><strong>remains unchanged.</strong></p>\n<p>The University of Oxford&rsquo\;s Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference enjoys a reputation as one of the most prestigious philosophy conferences at the graduate level in the United Kingdom.</p>\n<p>Papers can be on any topic in philosophy. We aim to represent a broad range of philosophical debates and traditions in our final selection\, across areas of both theoretical and practical philosophy.</p>\n<p>Each student presentation will be followed by a response from a member of the Oxford Philosophy Faculty.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process.</p>\n<p>For submission details\, see below.</p>\n<p><u>Eligibility</u><u>:</u></p>\n<p>All current graduate students in philosophy may apply (except students enrolled at Oxford at the time of the conference).</p>\n<p><u>Submission details:</u></p>\n<p>The submission deadline is&nbsp\;<strong>3rd </strong><strong><strong>August</strong></strong><strong><strong> 2020</strong></strong>.</p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>All submissions are to be made through the Easychair portal (<a  href="https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=oxgradconf24"  target="_blank">https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=oxgradconf24</a>).</p>\n<p>You will have to register for an account.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>When registering for an account\, please include your full name\, affiliation and degree being studied\, and contact details.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>On the submission form\, you will be asked to provide the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>A (preliminary) title\;</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>An abstract of no more than 500 words\;</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Three keywords identifying the areas of philosophy the paper deals with\; and</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>The main paper (to be uploaded)\, which should</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>be strictly no more than 4\,000 words\, including title and footnotes (suitable for a 45-min presentation)\;</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>be in .doc(x)\, .txt\, or .pdf formats\; and</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>contain no information identifying the author or the author&rsquo\;s institutional affiliation.</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>We particularly encourage submissions by philosophers from groups who are underrepresented in the discipline.</p>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<p>For further enquiries\, please email gradconf[at]philosophy.ox.ac.uk</p>\n<p>See our website for a detailed CFP:</p>
