DESCRIPTION:<p>NordPhil is a philosophy conference series for students affiliated with a Nordic university. It has previously been held at the University of Oslo\, Uppsala University and Lund University. The fourth edition of NordPhil will be held at the University of Copenhagen in 2020.</p>\n<p>NordPhil provides a valuable platform for aspiring philosophers who wish to develop their professional skills and test their ideas in an encouraging critical environment. More broadly\, the conference intends to foster a greater exchange of ideas between Nordic philosophers with the long term goal of promoting the international standing of Nordic philosophy.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Please direct any inquiries to&nbsp\;<strong>nordphil.copenhagen@gmail.com</strong><br>For more information visit our website:&nbsp\;<strong>bit.ly/nordphil</strong><br>And our Facebook page: <strong>facebook.com/nordphil1</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Call for Abstracts:</strong></p>\n<p>NordPhil 2020 invites applicants to submit an extended abstract on any area of philosophy to be presented in Copenhagen\, September 17-18\, 2020.</p>\n<p><em>Submission guidelines:</em></p>\n<p>Applicants should submit extended abstracts of <em>max. 1500 words</em> (excluding bibliography) on any area of philosophy. Chosen applicants will be invited to present at the University of Copenhagen.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The preferred language is English\, but Norwegian\, Danish and Swedish are also allowed - as long as adequate understanding can be secured at the presentation.</p>\n<p>Applicants must be affiliated with a Nordic university. Students at bachelor or master level are given priority.</p>\n<p>Extended abstracts should be prepared for blind review\, i.e. contain no information disclosing the identity or affiliation of the applicant.
