DESCRIPTION:<p>CFP: Ancient Philosophy Today: Dialogoi</p>\n<p>Special edition: Presocratic Metaphysics</p>\n<p>Submission deadline: 1 September 2020</p>\n<p>Submission email: colin.smith-1@colorado.edu</a>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>Ancient Philosophy Today: Dialogoi invites paper submissions on the subject of Presocratic metaphysics and its contemporary relevance\, both broadly conceived\, for a forthcoming edition.</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>The journal specializes in work highlighting the relevance and value of ancient texts in addressing the philosophical issues of our day\, and the goal of this edition is to bring Presocratic philosophy to bear on contemporary thinking in fruitful ways.&nbsp\; Primary sources could include Hesiod\, the Milesians\, Pythagoras\, Xenophanes\, Heraclitus\, Parmenides\, Zeno\, Empedocles\, Anaxagoras\, Democritus\, Leucippus\, Melissus\, Philolaus\, and the Sophists\, as well as lesser-studied figures.</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>For more information regarding Ancient Philosophy Today: Dialogoi\, please visit https://www.euppublishing.com/loi/anph</a> .</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>Papers should be of 5\,000-8\,000 words in length and include an abstract of no more than 100 words\, along with six key words.&nbsp\; Submissions should be fully prepared for blind review in a PDF file and accompanied by a separate title page including all author name and contact information.&nbsp\; Please see https://www.euppublishing.com/page/anph/submissions</a> for more information regarding submission formatting.&nbsp\; Papers must be submitted to colin.smith-1@colorado.edu</a> by 1 September 2020 for full consideration.</p>\n\n<p>Colin C.
