DESCRIPTION:<p>What is the relationship between understanding and the good life in&nbsp\;Antiquity? We invite submissions addressing this question\, broadly&nbsp\;construed. Papers may focus on specific texts\, particular thinkers\, or&nbsp\;schools and traditions of thought\, from Homer and the Presocratics up to&nbsp\;and including Simplicius.<br><br>The Colloquium aims to bring advanced graduate students and early-career&nbsp\;researchers (who are within five years of receiving their PhD) together&nbsp\;with established academics.<br><br>We expect to offer some small travel subsidies for presenters.</p>\n<p>Keynote address: Daniel C.
