We are particularly interested in articles that draw on critical race theory\, postcolonial theory\, queer theory\, and indigenous\, Latinx\, and African philosophies\, as well as articles that engage with pressing contemporary issues and proposals for transforming current migration regimes.</p>\n<p>Topics include\, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The colonial and imperial legacies of migration and their implications for justice</li>\n<li>South-south migration and moving beyond Eurocentrism</li>\n<li>Internal migration and urbanism</li>\n<li>Migrant resistance and political movements</li>\n<li>Migration\, racial\, and economic justice</li>\n<li>Immigrant detention and the industrial prison complex</li>\n<li>Border militarization and state violence</li>\n<li>Immigration enforcement\, externalization\, and accountability</li>\n<li>Sanctuary (in the city and beyond)</li>\n<li>The promises of local\, urban\, and transnational citizenships</li>\n<li>Climate migration and the refugee regime</li>\n<li>Refugee camps and forced immobility</li>\n<li>Gender and migration (including gender-based violence and persecution)</li>\n<li>Migration\, big data and surveillance</li>\n<li>Radical political economy and migration</li>\n<li>Borderlands\, borderwork\, and critical border studies</li>\n</ul>\n<p>All submissions should be sent to the General Editor\, Ramona Ilea\, by email to&nbsp\;<strong>ramona75@gmail.com</strong>.</p>\n<p><em>Essays in Philosophy</em>&nbsp\;is a peer-reviewed\, open-access journal.
