DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Appalachian\nRegional Student Philosophy Colloquium</strong></p>\n<p>CALL FOR UNDERGRADUATE\nAND GRADUATE PAPERS</p>\n<p>The Philosophy\nDepartment and the Philosophy Club at East Tennessee State University\npresent</p>\n<p>5th Annual</p>\n<p>Appalachian Regional\nStudent Philosophy Colloquium</p>\n<p>East Tennessee State\nUniversity</p>\n<p>Date: March 30 &ndash\; 31\,\n2012</p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker: Dr.\nDiane Perpich\, Associate Professor of Philosophy\, Clemson University</p>\n<p>Papers\nare now being accepted for both undergraduate and graduate\npresentations. All papers will be evaluated by blind review process.\nAt the conference\, the keynote speaker will choose the best\npresentation from the undergraduate and graduate categories\, awarding\na $50 prize for each. A limited number of hotel accommodations may be\navailable at a discounted price. <br><br>Papers on any philosophical\ntopic are welcome. Papers should be approximately 10 pages\, or 20\nminutes presentation time. The papers should not contain any\nidentifying information. <br><br>Abstracts should be one paragraph\,\napproximately 150 words\, double spaced\, and should be attached to the\npaper. The abstracts should not contain any identifying information.\n<br><br>Cover Sheets should be on a separate sheet\, and should\ncontain the author&rsquo\;s name\, the title of the paper\, institutional\naffiliation\, address\, phone number\, and e-mail address.<br><br><strong>The\ndeadline for papers submitted electronically is February 28th\,\n2012.</strong><br><br>Papers\nsubmitted as hard copy must be postmarked by February 25th\,\n2012.<br><br>Notification of acceptance will occur by March 9th\,\n2012.<br><br>Please send submissions to\, or request further\ninformation from:<br>etsuphilosophyconf@gmail.com<br><br>Dr. David\nHarker<br>Dept. of Philosophy and Humanities<br>P.O.
