LOCATION:Online\, Pittsburgh\, United States
DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the Pittsburgh Area Kant Colloquium is to bring together graduate students\, post-doctoral researchers\, and advanced undergraduates in the Pittsburgh area for an interdisciplinary colloquium series devoted to the study of Immanuel Kant&rsquo\;s work. PAKC is an excellent opportunity for emerging scholars to collaborate and receive feedback on their research. Submissions from individuals who are actively affiliated with a Pittsburgh area university or college will receive first consideration. Submissions must be suitable for a twenty to twenty-five minute presentation (~3\,000 words) with a fifteen-minute Q &amp\; A session following each presentation.
\n
There is no set topic for the colloquium\, and all papers relevant to Kant or Kantian philosophy\, broadly construed\, will be considered. Ideally\, a submission will be a high-quality term paper\, dissertation chapter\, or a working paper intended for publication. Papers that are works in progress are encouraged. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic\, conference sessions will be held over Zoom.
\n
If you are interested in attending the Colloquium as an audience member\, please contact Jacob Joyce at joycej8@duq.edu. He would be happy to provide you with the Zoom link and the pannel schedule.
\n
