HCC Symposium invites papers on all topics in philosophy and humanities for a workshop-style conference. All accepted papers will be assigned 2 readers who will facilitate discussion and workshopping. Accepted presenters are expected to also participate in the conference as readers. During the conference\, each presenter will give a brief 10-15 minute (not simply read) synopsis of their paper\; this will allow for a longer discussion and workshop facilitated by the readers. These discussions will also be open to members of the public as per a normal conference format. We hope this structure will encourage the more substantive discussions that are possible in a workshop\, with the greater organization that is had with a conference. Papers will thus receive detailed feedback as part of a fruitful conversation.
\nIn reference to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic\, the HCC Symposium will be fully online.
\nPapers must be prepared for blind review and should be no longer than 3000 words (excluding abstracts and references).
