DESCRIPTION:<p>The 2013 Mid-Term Postgraduate conference in Logic and Philosophy of Science will be held in Urbino on 29-30-31 May 2013.</p>\n<p>The conference will host six different sessions\, namely:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>History and Philosophy of Physics</li>\n<li>Logic and Philosophy of Logic</li>\n<li>Philosophy of Biology</li>\n<li>Philosophy of Language and Mind</li>\n<li>History and Philosophy of Mathematics</li>\n<li>Philosophy of Social Sciences</li>\n</ol>\n<p>There will not be parallel sessions. Each session will be chaired by the following renown international scholars:&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>History and Philosophy of Physics</p>\n<p>Chair: Mauro Dorato (University of Rome 3)</p>\n<p>Logic and Philosophy of Logic</p>\n<p>Chair: Francesco Paoli (University of Cagliari)</p>\n<p>Philosophy of Biology</p>\n<p>Chair: CorradoSinigaglia (University of Milan)</p>\n<p>Philosophy of Language and Mind</p>\n<p>Chair: Marco Giunti (University of Cagliari)</p>\n<p>History and Philosophy of Mathematics</p>\n<p>Chair: Mario Piazza (University of Chieti-Pescara)</p>\n<p>Philosophy of Social Sciences</p>\n<p>Chair: Enzo Di Nuoscio (Unimol) and Albertina Oliverio (University of Chieti-Pescara)</p>\n<p>We invite submissions in the aforementioned areas of research from PhD students or scholars that have been awarded their PhD in the last 4 years.</p>\n<p>Each session will host four different talks which will be selected through a double blind peer review process.</p>\n<p>Please send the following materials (as pdf files attachments) to Claudio Calosi at&nbsp\;claudio.calosi@uniurb.it</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Anonymous Abstract of no more than 500 words</li>\n<li>Title Page containing the following information:</li>\n</ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Author</li>\n<li>Affiliation</li>\n<li>Title</li>\n<li>Session</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Academic Position</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Deadline for submission is 10th March. Authors will be informed of the decisions on 31st&nbsp\;March 2013.</p>\n<p>Authors of selected papers will be given full accommodation for the nights of May 29th\, 30th&nbsp\;&nbsp\;in one of the University dorms and the social dinner on the night of May\, 30th.
