DESCRIPTION:<p>Reading length of paper should not exceed thirty minutes\, and papers should not exceed 3000 words. Submissions\, including a 150 word abstract\, should be prepared for blind review. To submit\, please refer to the website.</p>\n<p>Papers on any philosophical topic are welcome\, but for this year\, special preference will be given to papers engaging with topics related to &ldquo\;Art &amp\; Civil Rights Movements.&rdquo\;&nbsp\; Topics may include but are not limited to\, philosophy of art\, aesthetics\, civil disobedience\, social/political philosophy\, social justice\, and critical theory. The conference will be held remotely\, on a virtual platform\, by the Kent State University Philosophy Department and is open to the public.
