DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>The Annual Southwest Graduate Philosophy Conference</strong></p>\n<p>Hosted by the Graduate Philosophical Society at Arizona State University</p>\n<p><strong>The conference will take place on Friday and Saturday\, February 19th and 20th 2021.</strong></p>\n<p>Due to the ongoing pandemic\, we will be conducting the conference this year through Zoom\, which will allow all participants to attend remotely.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We're pleased to have as keynote Dr. Katharine Jenkins (University of Glasgow). The keynote talk will potentially be focused around the topic of Gender and Ontic Injustice.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We welcome papers in all areas of philosophy\, although special consideration will be given to papers from the following areas: social philosophy\, feminist philosophy\, critical philosophy of race\, philosophy of sex and sexuality\, and social epistemology. Related paper subjects might include: topics in social categories\, social ontology\, and ontology of gender or race. &nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Each presenter will be given 30 minutes for their presentation and 15 minutes for Q&amp\;A\, so please keep in mind a word limit of 3000-3500 words.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Submissions should be prepared for anonymous review. Please include a separate cover page with the following information:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Name</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Institution</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Title of paper&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Abstract (250 words or fewer)&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Contact information (email and phone number)</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Indicate whether you would like to be a respondent for a paper and include relevant AOS/AOC.
