DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Due to COVID\, the ASA Eastern meeting will be held virtually Friday-Saturday\, April 16-17\, 2021</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Keynote Speaker</strong></p>\n<p>The ASA Eastern Division is pleased to announce that&nbsp\;<strong>Deena Skolnick Weisberg</strong>&nbsp\;will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2021 virtual meeting. An Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Villanova University\, Professor Weisberg presented her work at a panel on Empirical Aesthetics at the ASA 78th Annual Meeting in November 2020.&nbsp\;For more information on Professor Weisberg\, click&nbsp\;<strong>here</a></strong></p>\n<p><em><strong><br></strong></em></p>\n<p><em><strong>CALL FOR PAPERS</strong></em></p>\n<p>Submission deadline:&nbsp\;<strong>January 10</strong>\,<strong>&nbsp\;2021</strong></p>\n<p>Papers on any topic in aesthetics are invited\, as well as proposals for panels\, author-meets-critics\, or other special sessions. Papers and proposals from traditionally underrepresented groups (including women\, racial minorities\, and persons with disabilities\, among others) are encouraged.</p>\n<p>We welcome volunteers to serve as session chairs and commentators.</p>\n<p>To submit a paper or a panel proposal for consideration you&nbsp\;<strong>must</strong>&nbsp\;be a member of the American Society for Aesthetics\, and if your paper is accepted you must register for the conference. You can join the ASA online:&nbsp\;http://aesthetics-online.org</a>.</p>\n<p><strong>Papers</strong>&nbsp\;should not exceed 3\,000 words\, should be accompanied by a 100-word abstract\, and must be prepared for anonymous review.&nbsp\;<strong>Panel proposals</strong>&nbsp\;must include a general description of the topic or theme\, the names and affiliations of all proposed participants\, and a long abstract (approximately 1000 words) for each of the presentations.
