DESCRIPTION:<p><strong><u>Call for Papers &ndash\; General Meeting</u></strong></p>\n<p>Submission:&nbsp\; Submissions on any philosophical topic are welcome. Papers should be no longer than 3\,000 words\, suitable for reading aloud\, and prepared for blind review. Include the following information as a cover page in a separate file:</p>\n<p>1.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Title of paper</p>\n<p>2.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; 150-word abstract</p>\n<p>3.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Author's name</p>\n<p>4.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Author's institutional affiliation</p>\n<p>5.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Author's email address</p>\n<p>6.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Indicate whether you would be willing to serve as a commentator should your paper not be accepted.</p>\n<p>Please send General Meeting submissions by email to Bob Sandmeyer at <a href="mailto:bob.sandmeyer@uky.edu">bob.sandmeyer@uky.edu</a>\, with "KPA Submission" appearing in the subject line.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Call for Papers &ndash\; Undergraduate Student Essay Contest</u></strong></p>\n<p>Submission:&nbsp\; Same conditions and requirements as listed above for the General Meeting.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; <u>Eligibility</u>: Contest open to any undergraduate student who attends a college or university in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Only one essay may be submitted by each entrant.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; <u>Awards</u>: the First Place Winner will receive $100 and be asked to read the essay at the KPA Spring 2013 Meeting.
