DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Papers: <em><strong>Contemporary Challenges to Democracy</strong></em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The end of the Cold War has seen an extensive replication of the democratic model across the globe\, a process taking place in societies with very different political and cul- tural traditions. Nevertheless\, merely three decades after their expansion\, the democratic normative model is showing increasing signs of fatigue\, as well as increasing numbers of challenges on all fronts.
