DESCRIPTION:<p>Graduate students who have not yet defended their PhD thesis are invited to submit papers on any topic in&nbsp\;<strong>philosophy of logic</strong>\,&nbsp\;<strong>philosophy of mathematics</strong>\, and&nbsp\;<strong>philosophy of physics</strong>.</p>\n\n<p>Papers in philosophy of physics will be considered for the 10th Annual Clifton Memorial book prize. The contest will be adjudicated by philosophy of science faculty members at Western.</p>\n\n<p>We recommend that papers be no longer than&nbsp\;<strong>5000 words</strong>&nbsp\;as presentations will be limited to 30-35 minutes and will be followed by a 20-minute period of discussion. Please submit papers by email (preferably as a .pdf attachment) by&nbsp\;<strong>February 24th\, 2013</strong>. Papers should be prepared for blind review\, and should be accompanied by an&nbsp\;<strong>abstract</strong>&nbsp\;(no longer than 300 words) as well as e-mail content or cover sheet containing the author&rsquo\;s name\, institutional affiliation\, title of the paper\, and email address.
