Critica invites submissions for its special issue on the metaphysics and representation of extensive magnitudes. Suitable topics include but are not limited to the following: the relationship between the metaphysics and representation of magnitudes\; realist and intensional theories of magnitudes\; the role of magnitudes in scientific laws and explanations\; the evaluation of the programs of Patrick Suppes and Hartry Field in the light of recent work\; the epistemology of understanding magnitude content\; analog representation of magnitudes and analog computation\; the metaphysics and representation of temporal magnitude.
\nManuscripts should be submitted in English or Spanish and no more than 10\,000 words in length. Submissions from scholars at the level of Associate Professor and below (or the equivalent) are particularly welcome. We are especially interested in manuscripts that address the following works by Christopher Peacocke: The Primacy of Metaphysics (2019)\, Magnitudes: Metaphysics\, Explanation\, and Perception (2015) and Temporal Perception\, Magnitudes and Phenomenal Externalism (2017).
\nSubmissions will be subject to double-blind review and only manuscripts that receive two positive reports will be considered acceptable. Submissions prepared for blind review must include an abstract and should be emailed to o.marshall@filosoficas.unam.mx by October 1st 2021.

\nCrí\;tica: Revista Hispanoamericana de Filosofí\;a is a quarterly open-access and peer-reviewed journal published by the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosó\;ficas of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
\nWith the help of various generations of Spanish and English speaking philosophers\, Crí\;tica has contributed significantly in establishing the analytic tradition especially in the Spanish speaking world. It was founded by Alejandro Rossi\, Fernando Salmeró\;n and Luis Villoro in 1967. Crí\;tica has published contributions by such distinguished philosophers as Carlos Alchourró\;n\, G.E.M. Anscombe\, David Armstrong\, Eugenio Bulygin\, Hé\;ctor-Neri Castañ\;eda\, Hilary Putnam\, W.V.O. Quine and Peter Strawson\, among others.
