DESCRIPTION:The 72nd&nbsp\;Annual Northwest Philosophy Conference\n<p>Portland State University<br> Portland\, OR<br> November 12 &amp\; 13\, 2021</p>\n<p>The Northwest Philosophy Conference is held each fall\, attracting philosophers from across the United States and abroad. The primary purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for philosophical work as a service to the profession. This has been the major professional philosophy conference in the region for the past 73 years.</p>\n<p>We will be including the following options for submissions:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual Paper submissions</li>\n<li>Panel submission (3-4 speakers not presenting individual papers\, but rather engaged in a discussion on a specific topic)</li>\n<li>Author meets critics sessions (one author of a recent book and 2-3 critics)</li>\n<li>Lightning session: 5-minute presentations of recent work</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We hope to hold the conference in person with an online option.
