DESCRIPTION:<p>The Canadian Society for the Study of Practical Ethics (CSSPE) is holding a special webinar series in 2021-2022. This series will include six webinars held over the next twelve months. Each webinar will feature two or three presentations and an audience Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p>Webinars will take place on Sunday afternoons starting at 1:00 pm ET on Zoom. 2021-2022 webinar dates are:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>September 26\, 2021</li>\n<li>November 28\, 2021</li>\n<li>January 30\, 2022</li>\n<li>March 27\, 2022</li>\n<li>May 29\, 2022</li>\n<li>July 24\, 2022</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We invite submissions on any topic in the major areas of practical ethics (e.g. bioethics\, business ethics\, environmental ethics\, ethics of technology\, health care ethics\, professional ethics)\, as well as topics addressing ethical issues and concerns which arise in the humanities\, social sciences\, sciences\, professions\, and other areas of activity and learning.</p>\n<p>Submissions must include a 500 word (max) abstract for one of the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual paper presentation</li>\n<li>Panel</li>\n<li>Book symposium</li>\n<li>Roundtable</li>\n<li>Workshop</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Don MacNiven Student Prize</strong></p>\n<p>Are you a Graduate Student? The CSSPE invites students to submit papers for consideration for the Don MacNiven Student Prize. The student with the winning paper will present in a special webinar and their paper will be published in the <em>Canadian Journal of Practical Philosophy (CJPP)</em>.</p>\n<p>To be considered\, submit a full conference paper (4\,000 words max) by September 1\, 2021. Submissions must include proof of enrolment in the form of a photo of your student card.</p>\n<p><strong>Submit Your Abstract</strong></p>\n<p>All submissions should be prepared for anonymous review.</p>\n<p><strong>Send submissions to <a href="mailto:conference@csspe.ca">conference@csspe.ca</a> </strong>Submissions are due on Sept 1\, 2021.</p>\n<p><strong>Membership</strong></p>\n<p>To present at our webinar series you must be a Member of CSSPE.
