DESCRIPTION:<p>The ALEF group (Babes-Bolyai University\, Cluj-Napoca\, Romania) invites you to an online talk by&nbsp\;S&ograve\;nia Roca Royes (University of Stirling)&nbsp\;entitled "Next Steps in the Epistemology of Modality".&nbsp\;The talk will take place on Friday\, JUNE 18 at 18.00 (EEST). Please write to danczeman@gmail.com if you want to participate.</p>\n<p>Here is the abstract of the talk:</p>\n<p>The first part of the talk will be focused on providing an overview of recent tendencies in the epistemology of modality and a sense of direction for the discipline. The emphasis will be placed on identifying the dialectical&nbsp\;<em>rationales</em>&nbsp\;for these tendencies. After that\, in the second part\, I will map my research against these tendencies and present my next steps: an epistemology of essence that builds off of the research so far.&nbsp\;</p>
