DESCRIPTION:<p>We are pleased to announce the first Neuch&acirc\;tel Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. The conference will&nbsp\;take place in person over the course of two days. This event will offer&nbsp\;undergraduate students working in all areas of philosophy the chance to present their work and gain feedback in a welcoming and beautiful environment on the banks of&nbsp\;Lake Neuch&acirc\;tel.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Applications</strong></p>\n<p>Please send abstracts of&nbsp\;<strong>500 words&nbsp\;</strong>in any area of analytic philosophy&nbsp\;prepared for anonymous review to&nbsp\;<a href="mailto:neuchatel.undergrad.conference@gmail.com">neuchatel.undergrad.conference@gmail.com</a>&nbsp\;by&nbsp\;<strong>Sunday&nbsp\;19th September 2021 (midnight CET)</strong>\, with the header &lsquo\;SUBMISSION&rsquo\;. Please also include a&nbsp\;<em>separate&nbsp\;</em>cover note attached to\, or in the body of\, the same email containing:</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;First and last name.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Academic affiliation.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Academic status (Only undergraduate students\, i.e.\, bachelor&rsquo\;s students\, may take part to the&nbsp\;conference).</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Subject area (e.g.\, &laquo\; Metaphysics&nbsp\;&raquo\;\, &laquo\;&nbsp\;Social Ontology&nbsp\;&raquo\;\, &laquo\; Philosophy of Action&nbsp\;&raquo\;\, etc...).</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Paper title.</p>\n<p>All speakers will receive a&nbsp\;<strong>contribution</strong>&nbsp\;to their travel and accommodation expenses&nbsp\;of&nbsp\;up to&nbsp\;<strong>100 CHF.</strong></p>\n<p>All talks must be in either&nbsp\;<strong>French</strong>&nbsp\;or&nbsp\;<strong>English</strong>. However\, abstracts may be in French\, English\, Italian\, or German.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Questions should be sent to the same address as the submissions.</p>\n<p>The conference is organized by&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;University of Neuch&acirc\;tel's Institute of Philosophy.</p>
