DESCRIPTION:<p>This event will present ethnological\, historical\, philological\, and similar approaches to the concepts and conceptions related to Logic and Mathematics. Topics of interest include\, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ethnographic and ethnological studies on logical and mathematical concepts.</li>\n<li>Philological studies on the evolution of logical and mathematical terms.</li>\n<li>Historical studies on the scientific revolutions in Logic and Math.</li>\n<li>Reflections on whether there is incommensurability between different logical and mathematical conceptions.</li>\n<li>Discussions on the potential contributions of other cultures or intellectual traditions to modern Logic and Math.</li>\n<li>Formal reconstructions of the Logic and Math of another culture or historical period.</li>\n<li>Pedagogical approaches to teaching Logic and Math to peoples from different cultural backgrounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Talks</strong></p>\n<p>We receive talks on any subject related to the topic of the event. Proposals should be submitted as abstracts (300-600 words) prepared for <strong>blind review</strong>\; that is\, they should omit any reference to the identity of the author\, including names\, institution\, e-mail\, etc.</p>\n<p>Abstracts should be sent to dia.logica@spel.org.pe with subject <em>Ponencia</em>\, indicating in the body of the message the name\, affiliation\, email of the author. The deadline for submission of abstracts and papers is <strong>Monday\, November 1\, 2021</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>Round tables</strong></p>\n<p>We receive proposals for round table discussions of three to five speakers related to the topic of the event. Proposals should be sent to dia.logica@spel.org.pe with subject Mesa redonda\, indicating:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name\, affiliation and e-mail address of the organiser and each participant</li>\n<li>Summary of the subject of the round table (300-600 words)</li>\n<li>Abstract of each intervention (300-600 words) or list of publications relevant to the topic of each participant.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The deadline for sending proposals for round tables is <strong>Monday\, November 1\, 2021</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>Website of the event:</strong></p>
