Thanks to the Tulsa Community College Foundation\, I invite philospohy teachers/scholars to submit explanatory texts on philosophy.
\nSelected authors will be published in the following OER textbook: \;https://open.library.okstate.edu/introphilosophy/ \;
\nThanks to the TCC Foundation\, selected authors will receive a $100 stipend.
\nContent can cover any philosopher\, approach to philosophy\, or philosophical problem/theme provided it is appropriate for 1st and 2nd year college students. \;
\nSubmission Deadline: \;November 15th\, 11:59pm CT
\nPublication Date: Summer 2022
\nRequirements:
\n
a) be prepared for blind review
b) contain approximately 1\,000-3\,000 words\; shorter and longer submissions may also be accepted
c) include 2-3 substantial quotations from works or ideas being introduced (i.e. primary texts)
d) include 3-4 suggested readings\, podcasts\, videos\, pop culture examples OR 3-4 discussion questions
Authors may submit up to two submissions (please submit in separate emails)
