Submission&nbsp\;deadline:&nbsp\;<strong>October 29\, 2021</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers in all areas&nbsp\;of philosophy are welcome.</li>\n<li>All papers are to be prepared for anonymous review (remove all author&nbsp\;identifying information).</li>\n<li>Papers submitted for inclusion in the regular program must be prepared for anonymous&nbsp\;review and limited to a reading time of 30 minutes&nbsp\;(approximately 12 double-spaced&nbsp\;pages and usually not more than 4\,000 words). Presentation time for the regular&nbsp\;program is 50 minutes&nbsp\;(30 minutes reading time and 20 minutes discussion).</li>\n<li>Papers must be&nbsp\;submitted electronically as an attachment through&nbsp\;<strong>EasyChair:</strong>&nbsp\;https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fpa2022</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please direct any&nbsp\;questions regarding the submission process to the Program Coordinator.</p>\n<p><br><strong>2. Outstanding Graduate Paper Award (GPA) Competition</strong><br><br>Graduate students submitting papers for&nbsp\;the regular program may also elect to have their papers considered for the&nbsp\;Outstanding Graduate Paper Award. The&nbsp\;author of the winning paper will receive&nbsp\;a monetary award.&nbsp\;Only students at Florida colleges and universities are&nbsp\;eligible.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission&nbsp\;deadline&nbsp\;October 29\, 2021</li>\n<li>Papers must be prepared for anonymous review and may be any length\, but 15 double-spaced pages are recommended.</li>\n<li>To have your paper considered for this award please&nbsp\;indicate this by including &ldquo\;GPA&rdquo\; as the first keyword when submitting through&nbsp\;EasyChair (easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fpa2022).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><strong>3. FPA&nbsp\;Award in Public Philosophy</strong><br><br>This year\, we will also give the FPA Award&nbsp\;in Public Philosophy\, made possible via a generous donation from Regina Rini&nbsp\;(York). The award will be&nbsp\;attributed to&nbsp\;<em>the best graduate essay addressing an issue of contemporary public significance</em>.&nbsp\;Only students at Florida colleges and&nbsp\;universities are eligible. Students should not submit an additional paper for&nbsp\;consideration. They may elect to have their&nbsp\;paper considered for the award.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission&nbsp\;deadline&nbsp\;October 29\, 2021</li>\n<li>Papers must be prepared for anonymous review and&nbsp\;may be any length\, but 15 double-spaced pages are recommended.</li>\n<li>To have your paper considered for this award please&nbsp\;indicate this by including &ldquo\;Public&rdquo\; as the first keyword when submitting through&nbsp\;EasyChair (easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fpa2022).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><strong>4.&nbsp\;Undergraduate Paper Awards (UPA) Competition</strong><br><br>Undergraduate students may submit papers&nbsp\;for special award consideration\, depending on which of the following awards&nbsp\;they are competing for:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The&nbsp\;Gerritt and Edith Schipper Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Philosophy Paper&nbsp\;in a Four-Year College or University\, or</li>\n<li>The&nbsp\;Outstanding Undergraduate Paper in a Two-Year College.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The author of the winning paper will&nbsp\;receive a monetary award.&nbsp\;Only students at Florida colleges and universities&nbsp\;are eligible.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission&nbsp\;Deadline:&nbsp\;<strong>October 29\, 2021</strong>&nbsp\;(the&nbsp\;deadline for the undergraduate award competition is later than the general&nbsp\;deadline for paper&nbsp\;submissions.)</li>\n<li>Papers must be prepared for anonymous review and&nbsp\;may be any length\, but 15 double-spaced pages are recommended.</li>\n<li>To have your paper considered for this award please&nbsp\;indicate this by including either &ldquo\;UPA4&rdquo\; or &ldquo\;UPA2&rdquo\; (for the four-year or two-year awards\,&nbsp\;respectively) as the first&nbsp\;keyword when submitting through&nbsp\;EasyChair (easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fpa2022).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><br>5. Special&nbsp\;Sessions</strong><br><br>Proposals for special panel sessions are&nbsp\;also welcome. Your suggestions should be&nbsp\;sent to the Program Coordinator.&nbsp\;Submission Deadline:&nbsp\;October 29\, 2021<br><br>To submit a proposal for a panel session\,&nbsp\;the panel organizer should prepare and submit a panel presentation document&nbsp\;with the following components:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>panel&nbsp\;title\,</li>\n<li>participants\,</li>\n<li>a&nbsp\;panel abstract which constitutes an overview statement of the theme of the&nbsp\;panel\,</li>\n<li>a&nbsp\;panel brief by each of the proposed panel members. A panel brief is text that&nbsp\;is (or would be the basis of) the panelist's intended presentation.</li>\n</ul>
