DESCRIPTION:<p>Do you bring video clips into teaching philosophy? Tell us how!</p>\n<p>The Blog of the American Philosophical Association&rsquo\;s <em>Teaching and Learning Video Series</em> is putting forward a call for submission on teaching philosophy through video clips. These can be ads\, shorts\, clips from movies and tv\, stand-up comedy or other video sources. Humorous clips are preferred. Accepted submissions will be published on the Blog of the American Philosophical Association.</p>\n<p>Each post of the series is written by a philosopher who has incorporated short videos into their pedagogy.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>While still a new series\, the <em>Teaching and Learning Video Series</em> has previously&nbsp\;published submissions by Associate and Assistant Professors at Florida International University\, Florida Gulf Coast University\, University of Arkansas (Little Rock)\, University of Minnesota (Twin Cities)\, and San Diego State University as well as Postdoctoral Fellows at the University of Nevada\, Ohio State University\, and Durham University.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><u><strong>Submissions:</strong></u></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline: October 15th\, 2021.</li>\n<li>Length: 400 - 1500 words.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Each post requires (1) a few sentences introducing the video and its relevance to philosophy\, (2) a link to the video\, and (3) a longer description of how you incorporated the video into your philosophy course.&nbsp\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>You can find a <u>Index</u> of previous published posts and a&nbsp\;<u>Style Guide</u> for the series here:&nbsp\;<a href="https://blog.apaonline.org/2021/01/27/teaching-and-learning-video-series/">Teaching and Learning Video Series</a>.</p>\n<p>All submissions and questions are to be emailed to the Series Editor\, William A.
