DESCRIPTION:<p>The University of Pennsylvania chapter of MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) is pleased to announce our sixth conference:&nbsp\;<em>MAP-Penn Conference on Philosophy of Disability and Illness.&nbsp\;</em></p>\n<p>In keeping with the aims of both MAP International and MAP-Penn\, previous iterations of this conference have focused on Non-Western Philosophies\, Global Feminisms\, Inclusive Pedagogies and Methodologies\, and Philosophy of Race.</p>\n<p>Our 2022 conference is focused on aspects of Philosophy of Disability and Philosophy of Illness. This includes\, but is not limited to\, disability and/or illness-related conceptual and normative issues in philosophy of law\, in medical ethics\, in bioethics\,&nbsp\;in general ethics\,&nbsp\;in the history of philosophy\, in social and political philosophy\, in social epistemology\, in one&rsquo\;s personal experiences as a philosopher\, and in philosophy teaching practices.</p>\n<p>The conference will take place online.</p>\n<p>Keynote speakers:</p>\n<p>Havi Carel\, University of Bristol</p>\n<p>Joseph Stramondo\, San Diego State University</p>\n<p>Jasmine E.
