The philosophy department at Texas A&\;M strives to cultivate a pluralistic and interdisciplinary academic community\, fostering conversation between various traditions within the discipline of philosophy\, as well as with scholarship in other fields of the arts and sciences. Thus\, in lieu of an overarching theme\, this conference will reflect and promote the pluralism embodied in Texas A&\;M&rsquo\;s philosophy department by accepting a range of papers from various traditions and topics.
