DESCRIPTION:<p><strong><br>GPPC UNDERGRADUATE CONFERENCE</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\, March 26\, 2022&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Announcement and Call for Papers\, Chairs\, and Commentators </strong></p>\n<p>The Greater Philadelphia Philosophy Consortium will hold its annual undergraduate conference at La Salle University\, in Philadelphia\, PA\, on Saturday\, March 26\, 2022. The conference will begin at 9:00am with continental breakfast and registration\, and will end at 4:30pm. Lunch will be served during the conference\, followed by a plenary address from an invited speaker.</p>\n<p><strong>Undergraduates are invited to submit short papers</strong> (under 2\,000 words)<strong> on any topic of philosophical interest.</strong></p>\n<p>They are also invited to serve as <strong>commentators</strong> and <strong>session chairs</strong>. <strong>February 26\, 2022 is the deadline</strong> for submitting papers or volunteering to serve as a commentator or session chair.</p>\n<p><strong>Please send your paper as a</strong> <em><strong>Word attachment</strong></em> to S. Joel Garver at garver@lasalle.edu <em><strong>and</strong></em> Tyrique Mack-Georges at mackgeorgest1@lasalle.edu. Mention in your email whether you would be interested in serving as a commentator or chair. More details on precise location on campus will follow.</p>\n<p>All conference attendees will be expected to abide by COVID protocols and practices required by La Salle University and the Philadelphia Department of Health (masking\, social distancing\, etc.). Vaccination (and booster where possible) are strongly encouraged (or at least testing within 48 hours of the beginning of the conference). Some opportunity for remote\, virtual participation may be offered\, particularly for students at a distance who wish to attend.</p>\n<p>If possible\, limited financial assistance may be provided for students traveling from a distance.
