DESCRIPTION:<p>The conference will constitute a general discussion on philosophical&nbsp\;and philological issues from an interdisciplinary perspective\, with&nbsp\;some methodological issues. The disciplinary range of the conference&nbsp\;will be extended to involve interested specialists from different&nbsp\;studies: linguists\, philologists\, philosophers and specialists in&nbsp\;other related fields.<br><br>The main objectives of this conference are: the elaboration of&nbsp\;scientific and cultural dialogue among the researchers of Philosophy&nbsp\;and Philology\, communication between Russian and foreign researchers&nbsp\;to provide an open area for the discussion and exchange of opinions&nbsp\;on fundamental research problems.<br><br>The conference will seek to explore the role of language in the&nbsp\;philosophical cultures of the East\, Russia and the West. In&nbsp\;particular it will search for ways to understand different language<br>cultures and the philosophical foundations of translation.<br><br>A point of special interest will be the integration of philosophy and&nbsp\;literature in different cultures\, especially in classical Russian&nbsp\;culture.</p>\n<p>Papers are invited for the following sessions:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Philosophy of translation: philosophical foundations for&nbsp\;interpretation of different language cultures</li>\n<li>Problems of translation of oriental philosophical texts</li>\n<li>Philosophy and philology: aspects of interaction</li>\n<li>The integration of philosophy and literature in the classical&nbsp\;Russian culture</li>\n<li>Language as means of communication: philosophical aspects</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The working languages are Russian\, English.<br><br>A one page abstract should be submitted by April 15\, 2013 to Dr.&nbsp\;Ruzana Pskhu (r.pskhu@mail.ru)&nbsp\;and (nauka_fgsn@mail.ru). Presentation&nbsp\;of accepted papers will be 25 minutes in length followed by 10 minutes&nbsp\;discussion. Full papers for which there is no upper page limit will&nbsp\;be due by July 1\, 2013\, for publication both in Russian and in&nbsp\;English.<br><br>Number of participants will be around 25.<br><br>All travel expenses and accommodation will be covered by participants&nbsp\;(or their institutions)\; lunch/dinner will be covered by PFU\; visa&nbsp\;support will be provided by PFU.<br><br>Conference website:</p>
