Humanists in Conversation on Conspiracy is an interdisciplinary humanities conference designed to bring together different perspectives on belief in conspiracy theories\, the possibility of rational belief in conspiracy theories\, misinformation and more in a two-day\, hybrid event online and at the University of Rochester. This event is designed to be accessible to the public. \;
\nThe conference will consist of four to six talks selected on the basis of submitted abstracts\, and one keynote address. Our keynote speaker will be from Dr. Kathryn Olmsted\, Professor of History at the University of California-Davis. \;
\nWe invite submissions from any area of philosophy or other humanities disciplines that \; engage with the theme of belief in conspiracy theories\, and issues surrounding conspiracy theories and misinformation\, broadly construed. \;
\nSubmission deadline: March 7\, 2022 \;
\nSubmission guidelines: Abstracts should be 300-500 words\, anonymized\, and suitable for a 20-25 minute presentation for a general audience. Each talk will be followed by a Q&\;A. \;
