DESCRIPTION:<p>The Vancouver Summer Philosophy Conference is a small workshop-style pre-read generalist philosophy conference. There will be 9 submitted papers\; each will be pre-read by all participants\, and have two commentators and a long discussion session.</p>\n<p>The VSPC is designed to foster excellent philosophical conversations &mdash\; we pick papers on the basis of generalist philosophical interest\, and design the conference to maximize discussion\, both within the formal sessions\, and in the informal periods\, where we encourage philosophers to take advantage of the beautiful Vancouver summer together.</p>\n<p>The VSPC is a closed conference\, open only to registered participants\, selected via the CFP. Everyone in the world is invited to submit a paper or to volunteer for another conference role. The deadline for both is March 15:&nbsp\;https://www.thevspc.com/cfp</p>
