DESCRIPTION:<p>The Metaphysics and Introspection workshop explores whether phenomenological reflection on experiences can be a reliable guide to the nature of consciousness or the nature of reality. Related questions we aim to discuss include:</p>\n<p>(i) Can introspection be a reliable guide to fundamental ontology?</p>\n<p>(ii) Do we have special epistemic access to the natures of our experiences?</p>\n<p>(iii) Can we know the essential properties of an experience\, and if so\, what are they?</p>\n<p>(iv) Can experience tell us what selfhood is?</p>\n<p>Schedule and registration details are on the event's website.</p>
