DESCRIPTION:<p>The Tuebingen Graduate Conferences in Practical Philosophy aim to provide an&nbsp\;opportunity for young scholars in practical philosophy and related fields to&nbsp\;gain experiences in presenting and discussing their own work with&nbsp\;distinguished researchers in the respective field. The Graduate Conferences&nbsp\;are organized by a team of graduate and PhD students at the philosophy&nbsp\;department of Tuebingen University. This year&rsquo\;s Conference is dedicated to&nbsp\;the question &ldquo\;Is punishment immoral? &ndash\; philosophical perspectives on a legal&nbsp\;practice&rdquo\; and centers on the topic of justification of legal punishment from&nbsp\;philosophical and legal perspectives.
