DESCRIPTION:<p>The Illinois Philosophical Association will be hosting its 2022 conference at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on November 4-5\, 2022. Our featured keynote speaker is Michael Huemer from University of Coloardo\, Boulder\, author of&nbsp\;<em>Justice Before the Law&nbsp\;</em>(forthcoming)\,&nbsp\;<em>Dialogues on Ethical Vegetarianism&nbsp\;</em>(2019)\,&nbsp\;<em>Paradox Lost&nbsp\;</em>(2018)\,&nbsp\;<em>Approaching Infinity&nbsp\;</em>(2016)\, and&nbsp\;<em>The Problem of Political Authority&nbsp\;</em>(2013)\, among others.</p>\n<p>We host an undergraduate essay competition with a $100 prize and an opportunity for the winner to present at the conference.</p>\n<p>Anonymized submissions will be accepted until July 18\, 2022.
