CALL FOR PAPERS

The graduate students of the University of Texas at Austin invite submissions for the inaugural 

Austin Graduate Ethics and Normativity Talks 

To be held October 11-12, 2013

Keynote Speaker:

Allan Gibbard

Richard B. Brandt Distinguished University Professor of Philosophy

University of Michigan

We welcome high-quality papers from graduate students in any area of philosophy related to normativity and value broadly construed, including but not limited to:

▪ Normative Ethics     

▪ Metaethics

▪ Applied Ethics

▪ History of Ethics

▪ Political Philosophy

▪ Aesthetics

▪ Normativity and value in language,  logic, metaphysics, epistemology, etc

Submission Deadline: August 15, 2013

Acceptances announced: September 1, 2013

All submissions must be prepared for blind review. Please submit all documents (in .pdf, .docx, .doc, or .rtf format) to [email protected] with the subject ‘AGENT 2013 submission’. Please use your paper title as the document’s name (e.g., InterestingPaper.pdf). In addition, please include a cover letter with:
