A celebration of Millikans groundbreaking contributions to philosophy and the 40th anniversary of her seminal book Language, Thought, and Other Biological Categories (LOBC) brinding together researchers from a variety of disciplines -- philosophy, linguistics, psychology, anthropology, and biology -- to engage both critically and creativelv with Millikan's work.

Finally, we will also host a special session titled 'Millikanian Ideas: the Next Generation' by Nimra Asif (UConn), Karl Bergman (Uppsala), Drew Johnson (Oslo), Alison Springle (Oklahoma).
