The Department of Philosophy at the University of Southampton is pleased
to announce that we will be holding a 6th Form Philosophy Conference on
Thursday 7th November.
The conference will include lectures on a variety of accessible
philosophical topics delivered in an engaging way by philosophers on
staff, with plenty of time for Q & A. Lectures are followed by smaller
break-out sessions, in which students participate in seminar-style
discussion. We have also scheduled a campus tour and a Q &A session on
studying philosophy at university. Please find a provisional timetable
