A workshop on Love's Passion: Philosophical Perspectives on Love is due to be held at the University of Hertfordshire on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th September. The event will bring together work within the analytic and continental traditions with several of the papers making links to Iris Murdoch and Simone Weil. One of the key aims of the workshop is to help move the discussion beyond the reasons/no-reasons debate and more especially to clarify some of the felt and conative dimensions of love.
