Appraisal: The Journal of the Society for Post-Critical and Personalist Studies invites articles for Vol 9 Nos. 2 Oct. 2012, 3 Mar. 2013, 4 Oct 2013, and Vol. 10 No. 1 Mar. 2014 on:
CFA 1. Science and Theology
Some likely themes: Scientific and theological methods, presuppositions, limitations, etc. Theological aspects of current scientific theories and controversies, e.g. evolution but not only that.
CFA 2. Personalist Approaches to Psychiatry, Therapy and Counselling
Some likely themes: Contrasts between impersonal or subpersonal approaches and personal ones; the application of distinctly personalist philosophies; personalist treatments of particular problems and issues in these disciplines.
Please send summaries of about 500 words or completed articles of up to 6000 words, prepared for blind submission, to secretary@ spcps.org.uk by May 31st.
