Samir Haddad is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Fordham University. He is the author of Derrida and the Inheritance of Democracy (Indiana UP, 2013). His current research is on the philosophies of education in a number of French thinkers, including Bourdieu, Derrida, Foucault, Le Doeuff, and Rancière, focusing in particular on the relations between education and politics in their writings.
