Details

Professor Tonstad teaches queer theory, philosophy of religion, and theology at Yale University. Her articles have appeared in Modern Theology, International Journal of Systematic Theology, and Theology & Sexuality, and her first book was recently published by Routledge: God and Difference: The Trinity, Sexuality, and the Transformation of Finitude.   Professor Tonstad's lecture will draw on her second book project, which engages questions of social transformation and theological method in conversation with queer performance theory, apocalyptic, and the temporalities of financialized capitalism.
