Duksung Women's University in Seoul, Korea, together with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), aims to support UN Women’s efforts towards the empowerment of women and gender equality. The Congress is specially designed for young women in Asia and Africa, expanding on their understanding of partnership approaches in seeking solutions to women’s issues and enhancing the development of women.

Participants: Undergraduate students age 18 and over

  • The organizing Committee wishes to express its regrets that financial support is limited to students from Asia and eight African countries (Cameroon, Congo (Republic of), Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zimbabwe)
  • Only team based applications will be considered. A team should be comprised of three students (either three females OR two females and one male).
