Details

The Orlando Nightclub Massacre, the passage of HB2 in North Carolina, and the hundreds of other anti-LGBTQ bills filed since the 2015 Obergefell decision on marriage equality mark just a few of the ways in which LGBTQ communities continue to be targets of violence in the U.S. The Society for LGBTQ Philosophy will host a series of presentations at the 2017 Central Division Meeting of the APA on topics related to anti-LGBTQ violence, legislation impacting LGBTQ populations, and/or resistance to violence by LGBTQ communities
