Conatus is a blind peer-reviewed academic journal that promotes research in all areas of philosophy, published by the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The editorial committee is now accepting submissions (original papers and book reviews) on a wide range of philosophical subjects either in Greek or in English. All papers should be submitted anonymously by the 30th of April 2017.

Authors should take into consideration that:

1)      all papers will be reviewed by the editorial and scientific committee and authors will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection via e-mail, asking also for their names and info

2)      the adoption of scientific writing style and references is strictly required

3)      footnotes should follow Chicago Manual of Style - Notes and Bibliography documentation system

4)      papers should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (doc / docx), in Times New Roman 12 font (footnotes 10) and spacing of 1,5 line (footnotes 1 line)

5)      the committee will accept reviews of books published after 2005

The length of the papers should be:

·         -3.500-5000 words for Articles and Original papers

·         -1000-2000 words for Book reviews
