We are editing a volume of philosophical essays on, or arising from, the work of José Saramago (working title: Saramago’s Philosophical Heritage). The volume will be published by Palgrave MacMillan, but the publisher feels that it lacks a feminist perspective, in particular on the role of feminine figures in Saramago’s work.
We are therefore seeking a contribution on this topic to be added to the volume.
One potential problem is the timing: we have to submit the final manuscript at the end of December 2017, so the draft essay should be submitted to us at the latest in September 2017 (some negotiation is of course possible).
