CANADIAN SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF PRACTICAL ETHICS (CSSPE)

2019 ANNUAL CONFERENCE: "Circles of Conversation" (Congress 2019 theme)

When: June 1-3, 2019
Where: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC

We invite submissions for papers and presentations on any topic in applied ethics and applied politics, broadly understood. Interdisciplinary papers and panel proposals are welcome. 

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, prepared for blind review, and are due by February 1, 2019. Please send files that are Word, Rich Text, or Pages format. We prefer not to deal with PDF files where possible.

Students are eligible for the Don MacNiven Student Essay Prize. If the abstract is selected for the conference, a paper suitable for a 20-minute presentation must be submitted along with proof of student status by March 20, 2019 to be eligible for the essay prize. Presentation at the conference is necessary to be eligible.
