Call for Papers - International Colloquium

"Theories of vision: Augustine of Hippo and the Augustinian tradition"

From the 14th to the 15th of November 2019 it will be held at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (Portugal) an international colloquium entitled "Theories of vision: Augustine of Hippo and the Augustinian tradition", organized by the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Porto. Confirmed participants: Daniel Di Liscia (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München), Emmanuel Bermon (Université de Bordeaux-Montaigne), Georgina Rabassó (Universitat de Barcelona), Giovanni Catapano (Università degli Studi di Padova), José Meirinhos (Universidade do Porto), Lydia Schumacher (King’s College London), Paula Oliveira e Silva (Universidade do Porto).

Anyone who wants to present a paper at this scientific event, please send the title of the communication and a brief summary, until the 15th of September, to Lídia Queiroz [[email protected]]. Abstract proposals must include the author's name, institution, and contact information. Communications may be in English, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese and prepared for 20m of presentation (followed by 10m of discussion). Authors will be notified of acceptance of their abstracts until September 30ty.
