CFP: Arete

Submission deadline: November 13, 2019

Topic areas

Areté is extended its deadline for accepting submissions for publications in its Spring 2020 issue.

Approximately three papers will be published, digitally and in print. Your submission, which may be in any area of Philosophy, should be argumentatively rigorous, completed during your undergraduate career, no more than six-thousand words in length, and include an abstract, cover letter, and comprehensive bibliography. While argumentative rigor is a requirement, you’re welcome to express your argument in a colloquial style. For the purpose of blind review, please include no identifying information anywhere in the text of your paper. Instead, attach a separate document with your name, institutional affiliation, graduation date, and an email address we may use for correspondence. Papers must be submitted by email, as a Word or PDF attachment, to, by November 13, 2019.

Authors will be notified of the status of their paper in late December.
