CFP: Mississippi Philosophical Association (MPA) Annual Meeting: Philosophy of the Life Sciences

The Mississippi Philosophical Association (MPA) is soliciting abstracts for presentations at its annual meeting, to be held February 8-9, (Friday-Saturday), on the Mississippi State University campus in Starkville, MS.   

We seek participants whose work explores philosophical issues in biology and other life sciences.

While the MPA is a regional organization, we seek broad participation in this conference. Philosophers from all institutions and locations are encouraged to submit abstracts.

Submissions should include a title page with the title of the presentation, author’s name, institutional affiliation, email address, and postal address. A 500 word abstract should be prepared for blind review and sent as a second file (.doc or pdf only). Email all submissions or questions to Barton Moffatt ([email protected]).

SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 1ST.

Authors will be notified about submissions by DECEMBER 15th.
